Duvet cover set - Where Dreams Are Born - Nicole Russo

Limited edition digitally printed pure cotton satin duvet cover set, designed and signed by Nicole Russo.

Nicole recently graduated from the Carrara Academy in Bergamo and has participated in wide-ranging exhibitions such as the Biennial of young artists in Monza, Bergamo and the double solo show Tramagli at the civic museum of Crema.

The work awarded in the Letto ad Arte Competition, from which the duvet cover set was developed, has the title Where dreams are born and is a series of pencil drawings on 50x70cm paper inspired by the myth of Ovid.

Nicole motivates the work by associating the bed with the fabulous world of dreams, with a reference to Ovid's myth in which Morpheus with his wings gently approaches the sleeping person and takes on different guises to sneak into dreams, placing a bouquet of poppies.

The poppy is taken up by Nicole in her signature, as a distinctive feature of a delicate, refined and dreamy style, perfect for an elegant bedroom and a double bed.
