Limited edition pure cotton satin bed set with digital print and reactive dyes, designed and signed by Elisa Rossoni.
Elisa recently graduated from the Carrara Academy in Bergamo and has participated in numerous competitions and exhibitions in Crema, Bergamo and at the Biennale of young artists in Monza. In 2014 she created the pastel drawing on paper "The girl with the cochlear implant" for the surgeon who operated on her. The scientific committee of the Italian association Free Sound welcomed the work and, in a limited edition, sent it to people and associations involved in the fight against deafness, in Europe and around the world.
The work awarded in the Letto ad Arte Competition, from which the complete bed was developed, has the title The Dream of Nature and is a multi-material sculpture (sheet, LED, cherry bark) created starting from the peeling of a cherry tree stump with gouges and chisels for wood and a sheet, illuminated underneath with LEDs, shaped and emptied and on which pieces of bark were then placed again to create the concept of broken nature. The LED light represents the energy of the dream of which the sheet is a metaphor, which can restore body, shape and soul to what seems lost, in a renewed pact between man and nature.
The bark was then redesigned on the bed, with light ivy leaves creating delicate vitality.
The collection is limited edition and signed by the artist
