Quilted Bedspread - Legami - Chiara Gualtieri

Lightweight quilted bedspread (100grm2) in cotton satin with digital printing and reactive dyes for a brilliant effect, limited edition, designed and signed by Chiara Gualtieri.

Chiara recently graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bergamo. She placed third with the high school team at the National Art History Olympics held in Rome in 2016. She received the first artistic prize in the La Rondine literary competition and for the creation of the cover of the book containing deserving writings (2018). He participated in numerous exhibitions held in the months of February and June at the Bergamo Academy (2018-2019).

In the work Legami the fragments of fabric are joined by a red thread in a tangle of signs, a sort of diary. In the declination of the work, colored backgrounds were experimented with ink and ink in multicolored stains with watercolours, coarse salt and powdered pigments. Taking up the theme of the diary, phrases extrapolated from the work and from the personal diary were then added in an invitation to get lost in one's thoughts, in one's dreams.
